Where It All Began

Nordisk Gardindesign started in 2012 when our founder, after years working in interior design, recognized a gap in the market. Homeowners wanted quality curtains that fit their spaces precisely, but options were limited to either expensive bespoke services or standard sizes that never quite worked.

We set out to bridge that gap, offering custom-fitted window treatments with transparent pricing and professional service. What began as a small workshop in Oslo has grown into a respected name across Norway, with installations completed in homes from Kristiansand to Tromsoe.

Our approach has remained consistent: listen to what each client needs, measure with precision, and deliver results that exceed expectations. We believe that beautiful, functional curtains should be accessible to anyone who values their living space.

Our Process

Working with us begins with a consultation, either at your home or remotely. We discuss your requirements, the characteristics of your space, and any specific challenges like unusual window shapes or light management needs.

From there, we provide fabric samples so you can see how materials look in your actual environment. Once selections are finalized, our team takes precise measurements and the production process begins.

Installation is handled by our own trained staff, not subcontractors. We ensure proper mounting, test all mechanisms, and make any final adjustments on site. Most single-room installations are completed within two to three hours.
